Mariner Youth Soccer offers a High School Girls soccer league during the month of July.  This league offers local High School girls soccer teams an opportunity to play together and stay sharp in preparation for their upcoming HS soccer season. Games are played in an 8v8 format and officiated by certified referees.  The Mariner Youth Soccer Girls HS Summer League offers a competitive game experience at an affordable price!

Girls interested in playing need to register online.  They then need to contact their High School coach and/or Captains to be placed on their High School’s Roster.

When:
The games will be played on Monday and Thursday evenings between 5 - 8 PM throughout the month of July. Teams will generally have two games per week.  One of those on a Monday and the other on Thursday.

Who:
Players that will be participating in HS girls soccer in the fall.

Cost:
8-game session:  $80 per player
ALL PLAYERS must be registered in order to play.  NO EXCEPTIONS

HS SUMMER LEAGUE RULES

• GAME LENGTH: Two thirty (30) minute halves. Five (5) minute halftime. If score is tie at the end of regulation, score remains tied. No overtime. Games must start on time.
• FORMAT: 8 v 8 (including goalkeeper). A game may start with a minimum of five players. If a team does not have enough players to start the game, the clock will start on time. A team must start the game at the scheduled starting time if the minimum number of players is present. If, after 15 minutes, a team does not have enough players to start the game, the game will be cancelled.
• COACHES: Each team needs to have an adult on the bench who is responsible for the team.  Games will not start without a coach.
• CARDS/VIOLATIONS: If a player or coach is red carded (ejected) from a game, the minimum penalty will be sitting out the next scheduled game. If a spectator is ejected or asked to leave the game site, the minimum penalty will be a suspension of at least the next two (2) scheduled contests.
• ROSTER SIZE: 15 players. All players must register electronically. Team reps will be given instructions on how many players are registered. Players can be added at any point during the season but players must be registered in order to participate.
• JERSEYS: Teams are required to have jerseys.  Mariner will provide uniforms for each team and that is included in the registration price.
• SUBSITUTIONS: No subs on the fly. Must be made at midfield upon approval of referee.
• OFFSIDE: The offside rule is in effect
• STANDINGS: There are no standings or no scores are kept.
